The Literacy Institute is part of the , supporting more than 100 schools through collaborative professional development for K-3 educators across the state based on the science of reading. Educators, parents, schools, and other organizations can be trained in evidence-based literacy instruction through Lessons in Language, the Center for Vibrant Schools literacy training program. Trainings can be tailored to target specific topics and areas of improvement. Additionally, the Literacy Institute has partnered with the Indiana Department of Education to create professional development courses on the Indiana Learning Lab: and .

Project Build provides diverse groups of adults with the educational and career training opportunities they need to improve literacy and numeracy skills and advance their careers.
